Product Description

Product Description
Medical Nitinol Shape Memory Wire 0.2– 0.7mm for Guidewire Use
Nitinol Wire Description:
Nitinol round wire, also known as NiTi wire, is a nickel-titanium alloy celebrated for its shape memory effect, superelasticity, and outstanding fatigue and corrosion resistance. When deformed, it remarkably returns to its original shape at a specific transformation temperature. These unique traits make Nitinol the material of choice for minimally invasive medical devices, including braided products, orthodontic wires, guidewires, and various implantable surgical tools.
We are a specialized Nitinol alloy solution provider, offering high-performance NiTi round wires that strictly adhere to ASTM F2063 standards. Our products are crafted for both medical and non-medical markets, encompassing an extensive range of standard and advanced applications where precision, reliability, and mechanical performance are paramount.
Whether you require wires with specific transformation temperatures, precise diameter tolerances, or specialized surface finishes, we deliver solutions customized to your application needs.
Nitinol Wire Features:
Fully independent processing with precision control at every stage
Precision smelting with adjustable composition percentages
Customizable phase transition temperature range for diverse applications
Stable shape memory and superelasticity
Guidewires offer excellent straightness and elasticity, resisting bending
Remarkable torsional properties enable 1:1 torque transmission for precise guidance
Basket wires provide superior flexibility and maneuverability

Delivered Transformation Temperature
As a key indicator of superelastic performance in NiTi alloys, the Austenite Finish Temperature (Af) is commonly used to evaluate the effectiveness of superelasticity. According to ASTM F2063-18, the nickel content in NiTi alloys should be within 54.5–57.0 mass%. However, since the Af temperature is highly sensitive to slight variations in nickel content, it is crucial to subdivide the alloy composition. Therefore, refined alloy codes are adopted to clearly identify and control the alloy grades.
